Better work relationships
In today's demanding workplace, you are often required to build successful work relationships and interact with people in a positive way to achieve both harmony at work and career success. Yet tensions are common place at work, particularly when we are stressed.
The first step in building better work relationships is to become aware of the differences in people and how you can best interact with people who are different to you. My coaching will also help you to understand the impact your behaviour and communication has on people around you, and help you learn how to analyse situations and consciously select and use appropriate and productive communication strategies.
By improving communication and adapting your style to others, listening to what they are really saying and understanding their non-verbal communication you will gain the power of influence and will be able to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively. You will also learn how to articulate your needs and feelings in a assertive yet non- confrontational way.
I worked for many years in business, mainly in HR and Training prior to becoming a counsellor. With that experience and background, I am able to combine working with managers and leaders to develop and hone their relationship skills, with working at a more personal level with people who have problems with their intimate relationships.
